I think Miller not playing in the 2nd OT was the end of that game for us, unfortunately, especially considering that we already were down one forward.

Miller being out hurt, but it doesn’t excuse the shitty play that Slavin and Ghost put out there. Those are the guys (esp 74) you need to step up in a crunch and they did the opposite.

You can’t be shying away from contact in 2OT in the f***ing SCF, that’s just awful. Get on your horse and beat them to the puck, who cares if you get smoked.

At some point, lactic acid starts to become a factor the longer that OT goes. Both teams got sloppy towards the end, but ultimately the team with fewer injuries won Game 3, and I don't think that's a coincidence.

I like our chances with Bussi in net and Carter Shart at the other end. He has been just as terrible as Andersen.

Could just be the thing they were working him out for earlier in the game just locked up on him in intermission after a long night. Might be something they can work on with a could days off and a fresh start game.

Freddie has no confidence. Nor does the team in front of him when he's in net. We all like freddie but bussi made at least 3 saves freddie wold have shat the bed on.

Disagree; he's loyal but he's not an idiot. Freddy has been dragging for a bit, no way the staff hasn't noticed it. And Bussi was brilliant this game.

p.s. Based Freddy's past couple games I'd have started Bussi this game if I wasn't worried that he might not be sharp from sitting so long. But he showed he's much sharper than Freddy.

f*** Freddie's confidence at this point. These are one goal games. Freddie's save percentage has been declining steadily this series. We need three games. I'll take my chances with Bussi for at least the next one. He earned it tonight. Any other take is crazy.

I don't see it that way. 10-0 is a humiliation. Coming back from four goals down and barely losing in 2nd OT is "Oh well, we'll get them next time".

Yeah, Freddie hasn't been anywhere near good enough in this series for anyone (even Rod) to have blind confidence in him. Bussi has to be the guy in G4, if he gets shelled, so be it. Going back to Andersen means you lose Bussi IMO.

Every game so far has been like 2 goals on less than 10 shots. He has simply just been unable to make a save when you need it (I know it got called back, but the breakaway on Stone for example, you gotta get a save there).

These kind of things you look for momentum and narrative. If you can get the team to believe the idea that the loss is worth discovering a better goalie that can carry the series you go for it. We go w/ Anderssen again we're done.

Going with Andersen again would be fire rod territory and I am a deacon of the church of RBA. If Bus shits the bed fine. But at this point, IMO if Bus puts on the show he did tonight, this is 2-1 canes and we would have won tonight, or G1 at least.
