Miles better? I understand that the trade sucks.... But Nedeljkovic is by no means "miles better", in fact I wouldn't say he's at all better. He's a good goalie prospect who's hype mostly comes from a single good year at WJC's.
Yeah I shouldn't have said miles better, but imo Nedeljovic is a better goalie prospect, in part because I am a huge fan of his

And an OHL Goalie of the Year award. And an insane OHL Playoff run last year where he almost single-handedly shut down some of the best teams in the league. And the fact that he has consistently been ranked one of the top goalie prospects outside of the NHL in every article I have read in the past year (didn't see much of Comrie in those).

I'll take Nedeljkovic.

Because Comrie had a pretty so-so rookie pro season behind the AHL's worst defence. It happens.

This is where they stood last summer

Eric Comrie G
Trouba D
Burmi F
2nd/Little

:jets
Faulk D
Aho F

Hurricanes needs Goaltending bad and there no better piece than Comrie for the future to be had at this time. He's now the toop guy on the Moose, Helly was the top guy last year but now he's the Jets starter. Comrie should be ready next year or even a backup this year for the Canes.

Rest of the pieces need no introduction.

Why would Carolina do this?

Trouba, Connor, Little, Comrie for Faulk Aho might get it done but probably not.

The jets can not figure out their own goaltending mess, why are they worried about carolinas goaltending situation???

I like that he compared Little's value to a 2nd round pick and no one pointed it out lmao.

And you call yourself a Jets fan? Just awful

As a Jets fan, there's absolutely no way I would make that trade. It stinks for both sides in my opinion.

You should have let it keep going!

I wanted to see how long it would take for a non-jets fan to realize that Brian Little wasn't some random bottom 6 guy

Re:"Hurricanes needs Goaltending bad and there no better piece than Comrie for the future to be had at this time."
Buddy no one is going to get you winning today, especially with Slavin doing snow angels late in the game and giving up goals, not even Price.

Buddy, you called him a starting goalie right here:

What do the Canes need then?

After watching them last night they have major issues. Fix them.

Offering one of the most valuable pieces in a True starting goalie and going from there seems pretty fair; the last 2 pieces are where the adjustments are balanced.

We lost Little for a couple months and I'm sure when he returns it will be to soon and will be hurt again, it's the same story over and over with the Jets; so we need another Forward.

:help:

I'm not updated with the CANES best possible line up.

But if this trade happens.

What would the Canes line up would look like with that 4 JETS players

Just curious thanks :)

If Faulk were somehow made available, the Oil would swoop in to beat that deal.

Nuge+Nurse+1st for Faulk + _____

Fill the blank in with a serviceable 3rd liner.

If Faulk were traded he'd go for an established #1 C. It wouldn't be a quantity-for-quality trade. RNH doesn't cut it.

Yeah I'm sure that the team with the worst C depth in the league wouldn't improve by adding a top 30 C

Because losing their #1 D PPQB wouldn't hurt right?

Trouba can't hold Faulk's jock, and Aho looks to be at the very least a Brian Little....
Don't sit here and tell me Brian frikken Little makes that big of an impact :shakehead

This OP is bad overall for Carolina, And why would Ron Francis? Trade a young cheap D man on a cheap ELC for Jacob Trouba who's seeking around $5.5 million to $6 million per long term. That makes absolutely zero sense most of the young D that Carolina has coming up more then likely will be every bit as good as Trouba like Hanafin etc.

Bryan Little is a 60 point twoway center. It's incredibly obvious that you don't really know what your talking about in regards to him, feel free to do a quick google search and then come back when you're a bit more informed

Yet again B. Little is being under valued

Who's The Hurricanes 1C now?

First Aho is equal to Connor ( they are not far apart but Aho is not equal to Connor)
Then Aho at very least a Brian Little?
Brian Little, let Aho play 6+ year as top line C then compare.
Oh a top lin C without another C help 4 of those years...
