If we're drawing parallels to 2014 here, I don't think I can take a Game 7 like that against the Pens again.MSL-like
for the love of god no rooneyReaves or Rooney for game 7? Love what Reaves brings between whistles but he’s definitely a step slow in the play and would really like to see a fourth line of Motte-Rooney-Goodrow.
Really more of a third line that could match up defensively against any line on Carolina and would allow us to really roll 4 lines. Also all 3 forwards can move up the lineup at times if necessary, either for certain situations/matchups/extra centers for faceoffs or just if lines need juggling
Away I put Rooney in. If it was at MSG, I'd keep Reaves.Reaves or Rooney for game 7? Love what Reaves brings between whistles but he’s definitely a step slow in the play and would really like to see a fourth line of Motte-Rooney-Goodrow.

Das Boot is like exactly how these entire playoffs have felt.
True. Hunt may do nothing but he usually doesn't hurt out there. Rooney was actively hurting this team at times out there.Gallant seems to support Igor on that penalty. Basically said it made sense to do.
Hunt over Rooney 100%. Reaves over Rooney as well.
I'd put Hunt over Reaves in at Carolina.
Not sure about his scheme or deployment. My wife just declare Gallant best Rangers coach ever

It was Andrew Gross. I don’t know how to embed tweets.Someone here said one of the beat reporters said that both Blais and Goodrow were available *tonight*
If not conjecture, maybe hearsay

Mine is just happy to see Brady Skjei again
It's quite apparent. The numbers are very telling. The more we see it becomes clearer that Carolina’s system is predicated on matchups and being able to get away with subtle interference all over the ice. They also get easily frustrated when things don’t go their way.
