What stands out in his writeup is that Freddie has been practicing since Dec. 8th. It takes over a month of practice to come back? Odd!Yes.

EDIT: here it is from the Canes website. Goalie is listed as TBD.
Projected Lineup: January 3 at New York | Carolina Hurricanes
No changes expected amongst the skaters as the Canes go for a 12th win in a rowwww.nhl.com
Not really. The Canes seemed to have adopted the mantra that they aren't playing a goalie unless he's 100%. Thus why we've seen Kochetkov backing up and ready to start one game, only to not play.Preview: January 3 at New York | Carolina Hurricanes
Canes will try to pick up a 12th straight win and at least one point for an 18th consecutive gamewww.nhl.com

Unless it’s Raanta. He has to play until the other two are 100%.Not really. The Canes seemed to have adopted the mantra that they aren't playing a goalie unless he's 100%. Thus why we've seen Kochetkov backing up and ready to start one game, only to not play.
Brindy has said he won't play Anderson until he's 100%. He can be practicing and not be 100%.

I get it but world class athletes usually have a different clock than us folks....a month of practicing should equate to 100% unless you've had a major injury like Patches that requires a different cadence. Not really. It depends on the injury. Rod has been quoted as saying he won't play him until he's 100%. Given how the team is playing, why risk it?I get it but world class athletes usually have a different clock than us folks....a month of practicing should equate to 100% unless you've had a major injury like Patches that requires a different cadence.
Did he have surgery, tear something? Oh well, it will remain a mystery.
