For me, what sucks, is how we lost the game. When you're up by 3 goals, you need to win that game. There's no shame in losing to the Leafs, they're a good team, just not like this. Monty, definitely let in a couple of softies but even then we would have lost either way because the team got overconfident. At least we're playing tomorrow, and so we can get back on the W sooner than later.

Part of me thinks this could be a good lesson. Sometimes you learn through pain. Maybe this'll be a good way to learn not to be complacent.

But to be honest with you, we should've blown them out. Woll just beat us. Sometimes that's just how it goes. He saved their ass and kept them in the game. Robbed CC several times and I can't believe Nick didn't score on his chance.

No biggie. Not a playoff game. Just dust yourself off and come out hard tomorrow.

The moment Dvo hit the post at 3-0 and Toronto scored shortly after I had this feeling it wasn't going to end well. Made 120$ with a bet yet this is the most irritated I have been after a game this year. 6 goals, really.... FFS

Reaves muat think he turned the game around too. Hope we get them first round.

100% fine to bash Monty for tonight but he's been very very good in other games and he's been solid in others. His bad games are very bad but they're not that often. He's a battler and he'll bounce back. In the big picture, this might be the chance Dobes needs to grab the reins.

People have dementia when he legit stole a point all on his own against the Stars just last week.

3-0 is a big enough lead and the team should have tightened up defensively. I felt that MSL should have called a timeout when they made it 4-3, it might have helped.

This was a humbling experience for the young players but it happens. Hockey teams go through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

People used to regularly shit on Carey Price. Tonight they've shat on Montie.

Not a good game for him. Gave up a couple of soft goals and goaltending was the difference tonight. But I see posters blaming him for everything and that's BS. Some posters aren't able to look at things critically at all. We lose and it's "our goalie sucks blahblahblahlablah..." It's stupid. Some of those goals aren't on him. When you have a guy standing by himself with all the time in the world a foot in front of the goalie, that's not on your netminder.

Montie has stolen us games and is a good starter. No, he's not Carey Price and never will be. But he's not terrible and he does steal us the odd game.

All that being said, Dobbes has played extremely well in his start here. This will only open the door further for him. Hopefully we get a better result tomorrow night.

Game was already over before the Lorentz goal. That made it 6-3. The Nylander, OEL, McMann & Robertson goals were all bad goals.

OEL from distance with no traffic ... come on. Monty was off his angles this game, was making terrible reads & not in control of his body movements. He was sliding all over the place in his crease. He lacks consistency.

Woll was the difference tonight. Hats off to him, best player on the ice and I imagine that it's a game he'll remember for the rest of his life.

Leafs D was trash. They gave up a ton of chances. Woll was both good & lucky.

Just a horrible effort from Montreal....MSL needs to pick one player and start putting people in the press box....lots to choose from.

Honestly I'm not mad at this one. We got outgoalied big time, couple of posts, refs were garbage but that's to be expected vs the laffs, and it was a first home game after the longest f***ing trip ever. 17 games in a row with travel between each game.

And still they could've win this game if Monty would've been only average.

So anyways, onto the next one which by chance is tomorrow so no time to dwell over what could've been.
