Would you guys be ok with trading Pacioretty? If the trade's fair, I would.
Sounds like a lateral move at best, making a move for sole purpose of making a move.

Instead of trading Pacioretty, how about we trade Therrien?
Who else is sick with this dump and chase philosophy under Therrien! God, the Habs have no flow anymore, and they don't seem to be able to pass anymore. A few years ago I remember the Habs had some crisp passing, and broke out of their zone with speed, which generated chances, and then they could sustain pressure in the O-zone with said passing abilities. They play a very boring style of hockey now, reminiscent of Jersey 5-10 years ago, but Jersey had the players that could snipe when other teams faltered, and a few bruising defenders who would punish the opposition. I think the Therrien's philosophy is not right for these horses. Perhaps he is developing a system that will pay off later when we get the right horses, but god, is this dull hockey!

What would you consider a fair trade for Pacioretty?
Not if it's fair. I would trade him for an overpayment, but not a fair deal.
How many years ago are you talking about? I remember coming to these forums and being incapable of finding a post that wasn't complaining about how boring JM's system is and how he has taken away all the creativity from our top of the line offensive talent.
My friend said that TSN said that Habs are looking at Wheeler?

It feels as though they did a 180 turn on systems after we were blown out 6-0 by LA. That, for me, is the turning point which lead to the current playstyle.
