I'm watching the Habs feed, and they are explaining exactly how we ate losing this game.

They said even though we've given up only 14 shots, the sloppy play in our own zone made them very high quality shots.

They explain that in the Habs forecheck, it isn't the first guy who steals the puck but the second layer that steps up after the guy forces the play and allowed the counter attack. As he described it, someone put pressure on Marino at our blue line, he forced a cross ice pass to Palat and Savard stepped in front of him and they are coming back at us with nothing but open Ice in the neutral zone.

And we’re world-beaters after victories, I don’t know if demanding clear-eyed thinking after icky losses is the way to go here lol
