Hasek used to get shit on for not removing his helmet during national anthems. He said his helmet was too complicated to take on and off quickly before puckdrop.

Two wrongs don’t make a right but didn’t the Russians walk out during the Canadian anthem a few years ago? They’re kids, bad move by Hayton sure but he’ll move on as should we

Yes what an idiot. Let’s bully a teenager again like last year.
Mature response. A 19 year old man neglects to take his helmet off as respect for another nation because he’s childish over getting spanked and I’m a bully for thinking he’s an idiot?

The bullying was dumb people who hated on a kid for missing a penalty shot. Not for questioning leadership abilities with his selfish penalties. I never once reached out to either of these people personally like some lunatics.

The anti-Canada pattern on this board is strong these days. Kid made a mistake, get over it.

Remember, it's how you carry yourself ALL the time. Tell that to the Russians.
If he made a mistake, he should own it. “Get over it” shouldn’t cut it at this level.
