USA outworked Canada, but they are lacking skills, espacially at shooting at the net
They did outwork them at times, but timely saves and not being able to finish huet them. You could see they backed off forechecking as the game went on.

69.1. INTERFERENCE ON THE GOALKEEPER This rule is based on the premise that an attacking Player’s position, whether inside or outside the Goal Crease, should not, by itself, determine whether a goal should be allowed or disallowed. In other words, goals scored while attacking Players are standing in the Goal Crease may, in appropriate circumstances be allowed. Goals should be disallowed only if:

(I) an attacking Player, either by their positioning or by a "relevant contact”, impairs the Goalkeeper’s ability to move freely within their Goal Crease or defend their goal; or

(II) an attacking Player initiates intentional or deliberate contact with a Goalkeeper, inside or outside of their Goal Crease

I think it was pretty clear that the first disallowed goal fit (II).

Credit to USA, certainly closer than the score. Canada took advantage of good bounces and got the deserved win. Credit to the depth guys for pulling that out. Milic was a bit of an adventure but he made some huge saves. Roy was the best player in the game. Gaucher's line was again quite good. Beck was good in his shifts. Del Mastro, other than his stupid over the glass penalty, was great throughout the game. Nice improvement for Zellweger over the previous game as well.

Infer? I'm flat stating it. Just more of her to love baby.

I didn’t think we’d win gold this year. I’m hoping Cooley stays in college and can play next year. I wasn’t a big fan of our offense overall.

Hughes had a bad tournament considering expectations. Cooley was far and away our best player and one of the best of the tournament. He’s improved so much.

It was going to be really tough to beat this Canadian team.

They were lacking high end creativity as well.

Pastujov and Voit are absolutely better than the vast majority of these American forwards.

They let politics get in the way of selecting the best players available, period.

You’re kidding yourself if Canada had those goals called back you’d be in your moms basement shedding tears and wiping your wet snots on your autographed John Tavares jersey
I’m no coach or anything, but maybe USA should try scoring more legal goals? It truly helps your team win, I swear

the first one was definitely legal unless you are blind dude barely even grazed the goalie that bumped into him.
The goalie bumped into him, in the crease.

You know what the blue paint means right?

So you're telling me if a goalie is hugging the post and a player plants himself in the crease and the goalie bumps into him sliding across that it's the goalies fault?

At least half of the Canadian fans are Leafs fans who had to live through the disallowed game 7 goal against Tampa, so that's something at least.

The first goal should've counted, and even if the second should have been overturned for this to happen twice is both optically embarrassing and incredibly unlikely.
Optically embarrassing?? lmao, ok.
