I think the USA programs, in general, focus more on development than games. In Canada, it seems everyone wants their kids to be playing tons of games. The NCAA hockey facilities that I have visited are top notch. And while I have not visited the UND, I have heard that it is the best of the best. Canadians that elect to play in the USHL preserve their NCAA eligibility as well.
