No debating that.Well he has sucked. Let's be real. Leaf fans it's ok.
It shouldn't get personal (same for pros), but I have zero problem booing a poor effort or walking out. If you go on Twitter to harrass people or yell at a player about his sister/mom, you're a lover."they're just kids" as the entire lower bowl leaves early and they get booed off the ice.
This is the guy they willingly chose to coach this team.
Aside from Finland which was 3 games ago now, Canada hasn't scored an ES goal either. TSN has so much cope for how utterly shit this Canadian team is.
It's Canada.. they will build from this. The documentary will be epic.
Can't imagine NCAA Football or BB fans shitting on their teams like this.

I don’t think you need a lot of imagination, I see it all the time.
There’s a lot of money put down on those games and a lot of angry people.
I haven't read the thread but just wanted to say I thought the reffing was very fair and every penalty call was legit. If our team (Canada) wants less penalties, they should stop taking penalties. I also thought Canada played a good game (maybe even the better team overall) but the US had the better chances. Hopefully our guys have learned from this.
Oh god they get the Czechs?
Yeah theyre done.
I'm not sure if dominated is the right word, they scored 0 5v5 goals and the US hit 3 posts. Canada was better for the first half of the 2nd period, but aside from that they weren't that good.I'm more optimistic about this team Canada than I was coming into this game. They dominated 5v5.
Come on man, you're Canadian you should know better. Canada can absolutely win tourney. Just give McKenna more TOI and your goalie can win games.
Meh, most of them were but not all. The issues were twofold a) nothing chincy and borderline was being called on the US; and b) the ref should know at some point, to put his fu**ing whistle away and just let them play.I haven't read the thread but just wanted to say I thought the reffing was very fair and every penalty call was legit. Maybe it would help if they stayed out of the box.

Doesn’t mean Canada was undisciplined though.
If anything, I thought the refs could've called more penalties on Canada. There were a couple of shots to the head from behind, contact after the whistle that went way over the line, and one boarding call that should've been 5. Junior hockey, especially IIHF, has more of an emphasis on protecting the head, yet i didn't see it here. Cameron saying it's no concern of his .... that comment leaves me speechless. The complaining by the CAN players about the calls kind of blew my mind, and shows that they just didn't "get it". There was maybe one call that was borderline.I haven't read the thread but just wanted to say I thought the reffing was very fair and every penalty call was legit. Several Canadian players have mentioned how they "dominated" 5v5 or that they're the best 5v5 team in the tournament. (I assume Cameron told them that if they stayed out of the box, they'd win every game and the players are just parroting that.) But I haven't seen it, at least not since Schaefer's injury. I didn't watch the Germany-Canada game, but against both the US and Latvia, I saw a lot of low-danger shots. As @WhiskeyYerTheDevils mentioned, there was that short period at the beginning of the second, but the US also had periods where they were dangerous 5v5.I'm not sure if dominated is the right word, they scored 0 5v5 goals and the US hit 3 posts. Nobody baited Pinhead Pinelli. He's an idiot!
My New Years Resolution is to try and not to laugh when I see talk of B,C,D Teams

They've scored 1 single 5v5 goal since Schaefer's injury and that goal was a huge fluke. Both Sweden and the US have a much better 5v5 goal differential even including the Finland game for Canada. Now some of that may be due to bad luck, but I certainly don't think they're dominant 5v5.
