So if the US wins in regulation then if EITHER Canada or Finland wins that game in regulation they will advance (and make US vs Sweden meaningless).

But if Canada were to win that game in OT the US could tank if they felt like it and eliminate them and put Sweden in the final game.

What I am saying here is the final games are more interesting if Canada can at least put this into overtime.
