Good shifts to end. Much better when they simplified and attacked hard on the forecheck along with funneling pucks on net.

Need more of that in the 3rd. Momentum swings can be huge in junior hockey and Canada needs to build off that.

Some adversity here and Sweden has played a very good game, hopefully the Canadian lads respond the way they should in the 3rd.

Really fast game. Sweden took over in the second.

Sad to see poor losing rearing its ugly head & the game isn't even over yet :(

Good jump from Canada to finish the 2nd, need to carry that over. First line actually played decent that period, need to get Celebrini either up with them and or on the 2nd line and hope the resulting juggle gets the entire top 6 going. 4th line is a no show.

Sweden has looked very composed and hasn't given Canada very many secondary opportunities. One thing we can bank on is that Canada will come out hard in the 3rd, so it should be a good one!

Canada seems to be trying to play a level
Or two above their actual ability. Need to get back to the basics and keep things simple

Hahaha so funny to read all the excuses from other side of Atlantic.

What excuses?

Most people have been critical of the players and coaches. Pointing out the FACT that with our full squad we would dominate this tournament isn't an excuse it is the truth.

A bunch of overreactions as usual from canadians in here. In the end you will still win the tournament anyway.

I feel like Canada is better suited to roll 2 high-end skilled lines and 2 more energy lines that are responsible.

Geekie - Poitras - Dumais
Rehkopf - Celebrini - Savoie
Cowan - Minten - Yager
Allard - Beck - Danielson

Not sure if this would be the ideal lineup, I am sure I placed some guys in wrong places, I just think certain guys are being miscast (Minten being a noticeable one)

Time to dig deep.

We are still very much in this and can come back.

Liked what I saw at the end of the 2nd. Appreciate some line changes. I feel like the coach has tried to have like an NHL 2015 line scorer - passer - checker on each line. It doesn't work that way, gotta stack some skill on a line or two.

The team needs a wake-up call by switching the line-up around. That Jorian Donovan should not be on the ice. Every time he is on the ice, he gives the puck away. Worst defenseman during training camp. He makes soft plays and makes lots of mistakes.

Not much you can say, Sweden was much better in that period and gave Canada an ass kicking for an extended period of time.
