Pastrnak has put the team on his shoulders in 2025 and is pretty well responsible for whatever success the Bruins have had. Morgan Geekie can thank him for the salary increase he will be getting starting next year. He is showing why he is considered a top 10 player in the league. On the negative side the Bruins continue to give up so many high quality chances that's it's hard to envision them going on any kind of significant winning streak.

Lindgren absolutely wrecked him with a hit from last season. That might be the reason why.....

It's been going on longer than that though between the two of them. Pasta also ran him from behind last season and got ejected. Year before that, Pasta nailed Lindgren with blindsind, semi late open ice hit which was in response to Lindgren knocking Pasta down with a crosscheck awkwardly into the boards. The hit put Lindgren out with an injury. You never see Pasta go after anyone the way he does when he sees Lindgren.

Don't get me wrong, I want the B's to win, but not at the expense of hovering around a wildcard spot and creating delusions they're good enough to even win a round....thus forego selling.

They have the thinnest prospect pool in my 45+ years as a fan and need to think about stocking it up.

So they beat a lower seeded team with an atrocious D and brutal goaltending, yippee. Today did nothing to convince me they shouldn't be sellers.

Fun win. Always nice to put one over the Rags. Was especially pleasing to see Poitras play a really solid game. Pasta in full flight is always amazing.

Changes nothing about where this team is at and what they should do going forwards. But as a couple of hours of good entertainment, no complaints.
Nice game by Potsy.

Great setup

Good win. This team like Saturday afternoon games. Pasta with the goals, but had some great looks too. Love how he’s adapted into a playmaker this year. He’s definitely looking healthier. Thought some of the role guys that we don’t expect much of played well today too hence the good all round team effort - Wahlstrom played a simple sound game. Koepke had a little extra jump. Freddys starting to look good holding on to pucks and making things happen, and Peeke frustrates me sometimes but I thought today was 1 of his better games this year. Just don’t let off the gas and get more consistent.

Poitras and Pasta in the near future.

A high IQ set--up C with a sniper winger.

Solid cycle shifts for Freddy today. He looks engaged and good.

Really hope Frederic is dealt at the deadline. Maybe you get a team to bite on his previous good season. Get a few picks for him in the upcoming draft and it creates a spot for Merkulov or Lysell.
