I frankly don't see Canada scoring 6 against Kazakhstan. 6 goals would actually be as many as they have scored in 4 games before combined.

Outside of the top line, CAN doesn't have much offense. 2nd PP unit just plays keep-away. I'm also surprised Kuemper got the call. He's been solid so far but overall not inspiring.

This whole tournament has been awful for Canada. There's absolutely no reason we shouldn't be steamrolling this team.

I'm just glad Mangiapane has been showing off himself a bit these last couple games. He's been really good for the Flames and I'm happy he's getting to represent Canada at least

Darcy Kuemper can’t possibly be the best goaltender Canada could get, can he? I don’t think I’ve seen him let in a single goal he shouldn’t have stopped.

This team doesn't click. Not sure if it's coaching or the players, but they just don't seem to have any chemistry whatsoever, and there's no game breaking talent that can just take over a game to make up for that

Consider for a moment Canada's goaltending is at the point where he is a very realistic candidate for their Olympic team. Although not after this tournament probably, he was the only one on this team with something to lose.

An important win for Germany and Latvia as well though, good job Canada.

Can't imagine Gallant has helped his chances either. This team doesn't seem to be getting any better. The bench was really shortened today too. Doesn't bode well.
