1998 - Finland 3 Canada 2 bronze medal game
2002- Finland 1 Canada 2 Quarterfinals
2006 - Finland 2 Canada 0 Round Robin
2014 - Finland 1 Canada 2 OT Round Robin

Canada has not beat Finland by more then a goal in a best on best scenario men’s hockey the last 37 years…that should tell you how todays game will go down. Also note, Canada has never scored more than 2 goals….Our goalie can not, I repeat, CAN NOT give up a soft goal, or it’s OVER.

Of the 4 teams that started only 2 had any shot to win we all knew it was Canada VS the USA

Finland is getting absolutely destroyed and there is very real chance Sweden doesn't win a game and finishes last.

Sweden finishing last use to be unheard-of.

If You have a tournament where You know the final before the tournament starts just have a best of 5 series

Sweden was a bounce a way in each of their losses to being uncatchable lol, and a lock for the final.

I always thought he should be with Crosby, who has more of a similar style to Barkov than McDavid. Bigger body to work that cycle game or get open for a one-T. I’d love to see them utilize Reino more on the PK too. I do not trust Marner

Point is the perfect player for McDavid. Is fast enough to get to those high-danger chances in time for a McDavid saucer and is such a smart player at anticipating where the puck is going to go

It's gonna be real interesting if Binner has a monster game against the US to win the tournament.

I totally have no problem with Binnington in net. He was one of the main reasons of the Blues turnaround season in 2019 he won a Cup v my Bruins and he did it in this very building.

Hallebucyk has a few pretty Vezinas which I'm sure he looks at everyday.
Playoffs? On a pretty decent Jets team....uuuuum?
He's 1-4 in his last 2 playoff years and 18-27 overall.
Great regular season goalie...let's just see if he doesn't choke.
