I have a new appreciation for Hagel. But Cirelli is just a nothing player in best on best.

He hasn't had his best couple of games but they haven't had to kill many penalties which is really where he shines.

I don't get how anyone watches Hagel and doesn't like him. He plays like if he comes to the bench without two hits and a shot on goal he's getting cut.

Jon Cooper hasn't had to make a tough goalie decision in 10 years because of Vasilevskiy owning the net.

This game against Finland would've been a perfect opportunity to start a different guy so USA has a different look in the Final if Canada wins.

I think the concern is that guys like Hagel and Cirelli are good for holding leads, but at this level, I don’t expect much from them when we desperately need a goal.

I’m counting the seconds until a line I think can score can come out.

Maybe that’s unfair but it’s the impression that I had in the US game.
