All nationalities of refs make bad calls. Including Finnish refs. It was a bad call everyone agrees but the fact that they are all Canadian refs this year is because Canada’s border is closed due to COVID restrictions, so we can’t have dozens of foreign refs come to Edmonton for a few weeks.

Holloway reminds me of Darren Helm. Great speed and energy, good pk skills, but lacking in the offense department. I think he will be a good bottom 6 player in the NHL, which is probably a slight disappointment considering where he was drafted.

There's a major drop off from PP1 to PP2. One unit has created chances and just not gotten the bounces. The other unit can't even get a handle on the puck enough to string together 3 passes in the offensive zone.
