The Czechs don’t really gamble but are patient with their system.

It’s something that I think is part of their hockey culture.

They are going to try to keep it close right up to the end as opposed to opening up.

Czech gameplay works the best when they can sit back and wait for counter. Now they have to play offense and it's creating a lot of chances for Canada. It's a kamikaze game you hope to win somehow.

Game looked pretty well in control before Canada's first goal or even second. They got too desperate after that.

I think it's a combination of things. Canada honestly didn't feel like they gelled as a team until the USA game to me. Now the team seems to read each other better and spread the responsibility of scoring and defence better. Czechia has been a strong-willed and mostly composed team throughout the tournament from the start

Also I always say this - Canada needs to lose a game in the round robin to any opponent before they start waking up. It was probably just bad luck / the will of the Gods that it was Czechia and to meet again in the gold medal game.
