He is excellent in moving into position so that he's always (or nearly always) square to the puck

People are so quick to forget Marner's two game tying goals against the fins in Canada's biggest game last year.

Marner hasn't been at his best by any stretch by no reason he can't turn it around. He has the skill, pedigree, and determination to do it.

That was merely neutral commentary. Was something I said incorrect? I admit "8" was an exaggeration. After the puck he shot was stopped by traffic, 2 USA players got to it.

Speaking of which, I actually laughed out loud when they changed the Strome-Marner line but kept Marner and Strome together.
