I think I might have a new favorite prospect that I have never heard off or seen before.

Can somebody tell me more about Jordan Greenway?, His complete level, and overall skill has stood out for me big time this game.

He just bumped off 3 Canadian players, and won the puck, then drove out front of the net, jesus.
 
LOL at Bean trying to step up on Greenway and getting swatted to the ice like a gnat.

Good on him for trying tho.
 
Parsons is spot on with his positioning, but he can really move as well.

Same as Oilers management all these years, the Leafs front office during the Nonis era, incompetent politicians, or incompetent professionals in any other field.

Through a combination of stupidity, ego, and lack of self-awareness, they aren't actually analyzing what is happening. They just go about their work with certain prejudices and preconceived narratives, and fail to change their opinions, because they either don't realize or don't want to admit that they were wrong before.

Gord typically gets sidetracked when he's with Ray but never this badly. At least the stories they tell are much more interesting/funny than this "How will Marner's season look" discussion.


Craig and Gord have basically ignored the game by now. Kind of frustrating lol

Just concentrated on watching Marner for an entire, long shift where he mosty floated around skating lazily and touched the puck one single time, even that was uncontrolled.


It's kind of annoying to hear 5 minutes of talk about how good Marner is and how he'll be making the team and all, there are other teams in NHL.
 
Canada isn't the defense factory it used to be

I mean in my opinion the top defensive prospects in the NHL are the following and only 1 is canadian


1) Provorov
2) Werenski
3) Juolevi
4) Sergachev
5) Theodore
 
Ducharme shuffles the lines and what does he do? Moves Jost and keeps Strome and Marner together. He really does believe they have chemistry.
 
The problem with marner is that if anybody that is somewhat big tries to go near him, he either spins or passes the puck.

He wants no part of them.
 
Marner's just getting manhandled out there. Any kind of physical pressure and he folds. I just can't see him in the NHL this year.
