I still have feeling Canadian are taking this this time. They are more likely to bury some of their chances and their speed in OT would be deadly for Finns.

You basing this on a whopping 3-4 finnish posters just fyi.
Well my mistake for not pointing out I'm referring to the ones posting aggressively in the thread. We have a few Finnish fans over on the Habs forum whom I adore!

I can't understand the finnish penalty kill. It's been same shit for 10 years, anemic with no one trying to break the opposing teams power play. Most of the teams play pretty aggressive penalty kill and for example, Finlands powerplay is always in shambles because our players just can't make decisions fast enough to actually get any kind of passing going on.

Bunting, Hagel and Danforth are useless. Bad penalties, minus players.

Zero assists and 1 empty net goal between the three of them the entire tournament. But by all means keep playing them lol
Why is Danforth there? Not any qualities that were missing. Gallant getting the Columbus job?

It's weird because I think of the Finns as a stingy, composed team on the international stage but maybe it's more of a 5v5 unit thing.

Not sure if either team has a gameplan but whatever it is they're doing out there it's fun to watch.

Wasn't the first Finn goal 1 second after the PP and the second goal on the PP? I could be wrong.. I thought the Lindbohm goal was a PP?

Finland is missing like 5 players.

Canada is missing 23.

1 Rantanen, 2 Rask, 3 Aho, 4 Barkov, 5 Laine, 6 Teräväinen, 7 Raanta, 8 Saros, 9 Heiskanen, 10 Hintz, 11 Lindell, 12 Kotkaniemi, 12 Puljujärvi, 13 Granlund, 14 Armia, 15 Donskoi, 16 Kapanen, 17 Halanpää, 18 Tolvanen, 19 Lehkonen, 20 Kuokkanen, 21 Ristolainen, 22 Kakko, 23 Vatanen..

and more. With 1/7th the population of Canada, Finland is actually missing more stars than Canada is per capita
