Hes been solid,especially the last few games. Some people didnt like him in the pre tourney but I think hes turned it around (I thought some were exaggerating as well). Hes especially been good on the PK and physical. Hes out there defending late leads and pretty sure he played th most mins of any dman last game so obviously Hunter likes something about his game

I thought he was shaky last game. Bad pinch lead to a goal and some gaffes in his own zone.

I too look their other peoples post history to take a very weak shot on a very obvious statement. Comtois is diving at an absurd rate and it is embarrassing.

A weak shot? I'm no fan of diving...but it isn't even in the same ball park as some of Marchands antics. Actually, it isn't on the same planet.

Fine mostly, but wasn't his best last game. Was running around too much, some bad pinches and gaffes, as well as that needless hit.

I know he's more of a playmaker with amazing hands, but MY GOD Hayton needs to shoot the friggin puck once or twice because he gets into such good position

And I really think some people are underrating philips. He isn’t flashy. And isn’t the big name some of the others are but he is very consistent. Every shift you know he will look after his end and make a nice outlet pass.

Canada now has the tough road. The team needs to be less cute and desperately needs more people going to the net. Also would have liked more from Canada defence only defenceman on that second goal, but overall the defence in this past game was fine. I'm looking forward to seeing how Canada comes out fr the next game. I think that the team has pretty good odds against any individual team. Comtois needs to stop the diving though.

That second goal for Russia was weak all around. Players need to play that better and Dipietro sat too far back in the net.

It's an odd situation. He is both very good and incredibly frustrating at the same time. He skates around pretty much anyone like they are a pylon and then doesn't do much after. Shoot the damn puck or make a quick pass. Do something! He's creating so many good chances and killing them as well.

I'm the biggest Canada fan youll find but ya Comtois has been pretty embarrassing this tournament. Youre a good player and a strong physical one at that, stay on your feet.

1 more game and then time to turn our attention to the World Championship in May. As for this junior team, I hope Hunter moves on to his NHL gig and none of his assistants get a chance to redeem themselves at next year's tournament.

It’s Juniors, this tournament isn’t indicative of anyone’s potential to the NHL.

People are calling Shen a steal after a nice goal. In the last two years, the kid had 2g and 0a in 40+ games in his current league.
