Canada is the only country that could ice 3 teams capable of winning Olympic gold. Im not sure if there's any other country that could even ice 2 teams.

That makes them the best hockey country in the world. If Sweden for example wins the olympics it only means they had the best tournament, but that doesn't mean they'd be the #1 nation.
Oh absolutely.
Its a development tournament. The only teams with "A-teams" there are developing nations.
Developed hockey nations have their best players trying to win more important things, or training to win more important things.
But it is still a competition, and all competitions are great. And everyone wants and should want to win every competition. That's just life.
Then we would be missing every tournament! Times change, and fans along with them. What's this World Cup I keep hearing about?
This tournament it feelt like all developing nations had canadians in their team that dident even would fit in your F team.

No it's not. You can't honestly say one international tournament decides which country is the best hockey nation in the world.
One team having a great/bad tournament = nation, that's just plain wrong logic.
Sure, like that graceful display the Russians gave last year walking out on Canada's national anthem during the gold medal game. Losers.

I think they still need their A-team to win the best-on-best tournaments. They have iced their A-teams and haven't always won.
Lets just ****ing skip the whole charade of the world cup and give the trophy to Canada nobody will have a chance.
Stop feeding their ego, they already are acting like they are gods gifts to humanity, you do not have to help them with that. Their smugnes is totally unmatch any sport all over the world. They are a good, one of the best nations, but they are not as good as the hype is telling, since they are not gods gift to humanity like they and their fanboys seems to think. Now they won, yesterday they lost, no matter what happens in the future, win or lose their attitude problem will never improve.
So if Denmark having a good tournament they can win the olympics you think?
With your point of view Germany is like Canada in Football.

The developing nations like Kazakstan(spelling?) had alot of Canadians in their teams this tournament.

It's definitely not our A team and none of the other elite teams have their A team either. The thing is, due to our depth, our B or C teams still are very good on paper compared to other B teams. DEPTH is really what stands Canada apart from the rest.

Russia potentially, but they often have troubles playing a team game in these things.
Oh, I meant developing hockey nations.
For example I would consider Germany a developing nation. Obviously they are one of the most 1st world nations of all nations, and not developing, but in terms of hockey talent they are a developing nation.

The WHC is definitely a tournament decided upon, funded, and financed with the goal of development. Hence why it is during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and always in Europe, and always on international sized ice.
