Still prefer Canada's top guys, the veterans, the leadership, & the PP which may get a few opportunities on Saturday. Only question mark is in net. No soft goals and we'll be fine.

Because we beat Sweden in OT, we need to either beat the U.S. or lose in OT to control our own destiny.

Meaning : If we lose to the U.S. on Saturday night in regulation AND if Sweden beats both the U.S. and Finland, WE ARE OUT !!!!

I have the US as the favourites but they didn’t play as well as the scoreline would suggest. If we had better goaltending id actually like our chances. The American defence had a real hard time with Finland down low and on the forecheck and while we aren’t the biggest team we have some really good forecheckers.

McDavid and Marner don't seem to work, think Team Canada is being stubborn on that. Not having Hyman on the team in such a short tourney where you don't have gravy games against the likes of Switzerland, Belarus, etc. like an Olympic tourney to ease yourself in is a big mistake I think.

Why is the bottom 6 filled with players that all play the same way? I would be a lot more comfortable going into the USA game with Wilson in the bottom 6 there somewhere.

One line of fast, tireless forecheckers would've been more than enough for this tournament.
