Dube wont play tomorrow

Who should replace him if the need be ?

He's supposed to play on Friday, seems unlikely that he will miss the tournament. Have to think that either Suzuki or Kaspick would be selected to replace Dube if something does happen as they were the final cuts. I would prefer Suzuki but I don't know if that's what Hockey Canada thinks.

Fabbro is the one that looks like it will be a while before he is healthy. They didn't exactly inspire confidence when talking about it the other day lol.

It will be interesting to see what happens. If he isn't almost completely healthy then Canada should just keep Mahura. Fabbro is a good player but he isn't Dion Phaneuf circa 2005. I do hpe that Fabbro can be at 90% at least.

Good write-up. Not the line arrangement I would have necessarily chosen but you presented your arguments well and possibly even converted me on some of those options. There are myriad combinations, of course, and Hockey Canada will likely have their own line combos in mind. That's why it's important to have some of those multi-purpose players on the roster and we certainly are stocked up in that department.

The artistic painting event was a cool team building exercise, and different...so kudos to Hockey Canada for that...perhaps Scott Salmond finally had 1 idea in his many years of working with Team Canada juniors that wasn't completely lame.

and while I still have issues with 3-4 of their roster choices, go paint a gold medal on Jan 5 and prove me wrong.
