Heard last night all of them making it as well.

No Pu, Tippett, all D are 98's. Pretty much all of the invited roster was big part of scouts talk last night in Kitch.

We'll see how accurate the info from last night was soon enough.

so Foote should get an invite? as he is probably the biggest guy we have....i hope he makes it...these kinds of guys are needed..

Nice to see Jonah Gadjovich announced.

Surprised to see Nick Hague and moreso Owen Tippett of the Mississauaga Steelheads left off.

Scouts had good info. Had all 32 correct.

No surprises in net, none on the back end, biggest surprises up front might be no Phillips or Tippett but not a huge surprise by any means. Should be a real competitive camp.

Just going off immediate gut reaction to camp, this is what I’d send. Team Canada will be different and camp will play a big role but this is my initial reaction.

Steenbergen- Steel- Kyrou
Dube- Thomas- Raddysh
Gadjovich- McLeod- Suzuki
Katchouk- Glass- Lind
Batherson

Clague- Fabbro
Bean- Foote
Ferraro- Makar
Timmins

Hart
DiPietro
Point

Looks pretty normal, I am surprised that Tippett and Pu are not there. I am glad that Lind will seemingly be healthy enough. Glad for Batherson too. Looking forward to the camp games and hoping that Canada is at least open to cutting returnees if they don't perform.

Bean and Makar were paired together at the Summer Showcase if I recall, and I would not be surprised to see that again.

I am not sure that both Ferraro and Timmins make the final cut as I believe that Stanley will be going and likely playing the top 6 for Canada, whether it is a wise decision or not.

Timmins over Hague...I can deal with. But freakin Logan Stanley over Hague??? Give me a break. Hague is almost as big, a better skater, has a better two way game, and is every bit as tough and physical.

You can play the 19 year old card all you want, but Hague is only 7 months younger.

I feel that’s a pretty good slight.

What do people feel Glass and Suzuki’s chances are? I think Glass is close to a lock. Not so sure about Suzuki. He isn’t as versatile, and the team won’t struggle for offense.

Glass could play literally anywhere in the lineup.

Nic Hague is 19 too. I personally don’t have any gripe with the 10 dmen they invited. I think they’re all more than deserving and it’s the 10 I’d have brought.

As a Sabres fan, a little disappointed Pu won't be able to play in the WJC held in Buffalo. Would've been a nice capstone to his junior career. I hope that, like Brendan Guhle last year, uses the snub as motivation.
