Need a HARD retool this offseason. RNH, Hyman, Kane, Henrique, Arvidsson, Nurse, Kulak.

Bring in a proper GM and purge the roster.

All their replacements will end up being worse. It's the Oilers way

Skinner never should have started this game according to almost anybody.

It's like Draisaitl said - they love playing for Pickard and he hopes they do it more.

Team aside from Drai and Perry have looked off all year. Hoped a switch would flip for playoffs but it definitely has not. Just look bad and unfocused out there. Straight up giving away free goals to sabotage themselves. Just a terrible season of underachieving. Obviously still hope for a miracle

Yup. This season is the least I watched Oiler games. I used to go upstairs every game and watch it on my nice tv sitting on my sofa.

I had zero anticipation for the playoffs this year. No butterflies. Nothing. Not even angry tonight like last game.

It's not 100% Skinner either, but he needs to go. We have too many dumb low IQ hockey players. You could see all year this team just did not click at all.

Skinner once again gives up a goal in less than 5 shots in the first, and had a clear look on two others -- one, he is down prematurely in his butterfly and the shooter beats him up top (short side no less), and another where he gets beaten after having a clean look from the top of the circle down. Was scrambling all night, seemingly cannot track the puck worth a shit and the Oilers having to play catch up yet again. Only this time, no desperate magic from the top two, and another entire set of passengers: Nuge, Hyman, Arvidsson f***s up after scoring to get them within one, Henrique doing absolutely nothing and taking a selfish, stupid penalty that spells the end of the game... Bouchard with another mediocre effort in the D zone, and this time his offensive acumen is completely AWOL with passes floated to nowhere and picked up for a quick plays up ice. All f***ing veterans. All paid well for their roles. All completely MIA. At the most important time of the year, or so you'd think given the empty platitudes these monkeys spout in scrums.

The culmination of an extremely poorly handled off-season and the loss of multiple younger players, only to get older, slower, and more expensive whilst dealing away what little draft capital they did have... and not even making the attempt to address the goaltending. An implosion of this line up in real time. Great job Jackson and Bowman, you bush league amateurs. This team is definitely worse than the previous iteration, and you let it happen on your watch.

This outcome was cemented when the team decided that the forecheck and speed of the young players that took them to game 7 of the cup finals wasn’t needed. They chose the unsustainable shooting% of Henrique and Janmark and the signed a few more aging forwards, as well as doubling down on Skinner. Arrogant management who thinks they know better than everyone. Also, it was apparent from the moment we got him that Henrique was cooked. As of now, he is not an NHL player on a playoff team to me. Get him , Arvidsson and Janmark off this team.

I actually have no problem at all with Adam Henrique although it would be nice if he was getting paid 4th line money to play on the 4th line. He’s smart, he wins lots of faceoffs, he has a nice shot that he never gets to use down there (when McDavid/Drai were out down the stretch and he saw PP time he tallied multiple markers). Can’t expect him to produce much in 11 minutes of 4th line TOI. I’d rather him on the top line than Corey Perry straight up.

Otherwise I agree with everything you said, you may as well mentioned Jeff Skinner and even guys like Hyman and Kane and sadly Nuge aren’t really earning their full pay.

That play exemplified just how inept the so called best dmen on this team are when Ekholm is out of the lineup.

Most definitely is. Same with Draisaitl, unfortunately this guy always runs into health issues in the playoffs. I think he is affected by the heavy minutes in the reg. season more than McDavid. Nice work Oilers coaching for running these guys into the ground.

Stu Skinner, I have to mention this, got pulled Immediately after smiling and chucking during a break as the Kings fans were razzing him for a routine stop. The guy is actually laughing. He's been torched for 11goals in 100mins of play and he's laughing it up. I'm pretty sure the OIlers bench was f***ing livid. It was a bench pull and I'm sure the club were talking about it.

The same idiot Stu Skinner was bopping his head to "clap your hands" at 2-0. He was the only Oiler having a good time while this was going.

Get rid of this f***ing loser. Bring up Rodrigue. Skinner can't f***ing read a room to save his life. Its a wonder he's lasted this long with this org. He shouldn't be seen again here.
