Post-Game Talk: Leafs tie Season Series with Senators

Nothing is over till it’s over, but this series is a bit different than that one. 1. Montreal took game 1, so even though they were down there was a belief they could win.

2. Ottawa is literally not getting shots through

3. Carey price who is a complete X factor is not in net for Ottawa. It’s Linus Ullmark whose numbers in the playoffs are pretty garbage.

My head says leafs in 5, my heart says this is over on Saturday. We’ll probably see the best version of the leafs on Saturday come out guns blazing.
very optimistic of you. but after a decade of total and utter playoff collapse i don't know how anyone can feel confident about a 3-0 lead for this team. If anyone's gonna blow it it'll be them

Add to that they took JT out in game 1

McMann was decent. He had like 10 hits
I didn't mind Patches either. That 3rd line was decent

Nylander was the worse player. So I expect Nylander to explode on Saturday

I can't see Robby coming back any time soon.

There’s two ways to live life, a negative mindset or a positive. I don’t believe the negative is condusive to anything good in my life!

But I don’t blame you for how you feel. They haven’t proven to us beyond one time they are capable of winning a series. However, for me, I can’t enjoy the leafs as a pessimistic fan, it defeats the purpose of fandom for me. Like why even watch if I feel that way.

Well, that was interesting

Say what you want but I think the Leafs are the better team in this series by a decent amount
Our stars are better and our depth is stepping up when needed

We aren't always on the job but when that one play to win the game is required our guys are the ones providing it and we aren't giving up much either

This team looks and feels different, like the stage isn't to big for them and everybody can make a difference when needed

I fully agree.

I do feel we are playing one of the weaker teams in the playoffs... not to take anything away, because this style of play translates against every opponent... but lets just remember the Sens are not a cup contender.

If we are able to fisnigh this off, the second round opponent will be a different beast. One I do think this team will be up for though, without a doubt!
