Yes, he rarely K's, which is nice. But he is still a below average hitter. Almost every offensive stat that measures a hitter’s overall offensive value rates him as below average. Here are some examples...

wRC+: 2015 (98) Career (87) MLB average (100)
wOBA: 2015 (.317) Career (.301) MLB average (.320)
OPS+: 2015 (99) Career (88) MLB average (100)

Yes and you keep conveniently leaving that part out. Criticize all you want, but tell the whole story then. Don't leave out the parts that don't help your case.
