In the playoffs i expect Marner to have about the same goals scored as Nylander . Matthews twice as much, both Matthews and Marner twice as many points no matter who they go against. That is what they are paid to do. If Nylander matches that then he is playing above what we should ask of him(but i dont think he will this playoff, i hope i am wrong but i think he will have a bad playoff).

We know the answer to this one.

Still looks like something is off, but he's had some decent chances and not much is going in.

Love the pass to Reilly for the post last night, similar to the marner pass to Matthews for the goal.

Not even sure what the lines are right now?

He’s getting chances, but honestly his attention to detail and desire defensively is disappointing of late. He’s always waiting for someone else to win the puck so he can blow the zone.

Still think he shows up for the playoffs though.

He almost joined one but recognized there was nothing for him to do.
He has faith in the system.

Too bad the Lightning rested all their good players.
I was sitting here laughing watching him that one time standing beside the red

Well, it isn't like there's been much leadership in that regard.

Tavares doesn't go out of his way, and Matthews let's others do his battles.

It's nice to see O'Rielly and the new guys, and I get the feeling Knies will lean that way.

And Bunting gets penalized if he looks at a scrum.

I said right away that it would be close, and depended on how much time he got away from JT.

The answer to both is "not quite enough".

This season has made it very clear who's the better player, and why they should be split.

so saw this on twitter. Willy is going his Dad's route in terms of haistyle soon I suppose

P.S. I vote to rest Willy against the Rangers. He's been playing non-stop for a while.

Rest all of Tavares, Willy, Brodie, McCabe

IN: Matthews, Marner, Gio, Gus,

My gut tells me he wont' be able to
Just not good enough

He'll be lucky to get 50 points this year
