I’ve watched sports for a long time, so not too much surprises me by this point, but I’m floored that McDavid is playing tonight. Honestly, I expected at least eight games off as a hopeful estimate, and realistically thought it would be closer to 12, especially after last season’s rushed return.
This doesn’t seem like a panic decision this time, so I’m hopeful he’s really at 99%.
Anyone have extra insight I might have missed over the past day or two?
