it's actually not rare or amazing that a team's best 4 scorers score 16 straight goals combined.

Very good workman like game from Toronto tonight, nothing fancy about it. You can say 34 looked very pedestrian out there tonight, but he was very solid defensively.

I know he got 2 points but I'm starting to get concerned regarding Matthews. He just doesn't seem interested. He's always on the perimeter now as opposed to getting into the slot and dirty areas. I'm not sure if he's still hurt or what it is but the last couple of games he just doesn't seem interested.

Not worried about AM34. He's pacing himself for the long season. He's still effective even when's he's slowly dialing it in.

Nice win and good game from a few that definitely needed it (Holl, Ritchie, Kase). Strong efforts and results from Nylander, Campbell and Matthews. Effective enough debut from Semyonov too.

Nice bounce back game amazing we went 16 straight goals by the big 4. That's the way this year will go. As each day goes by Campbell getting more expensive . I'm happy for him he has more than paid his dues and stuck with it.

Yeah you would have to think that’s pretty rare.

The thing about of Matthews is that we kind of expect him to score every game or every other game and when he doesn’t we feel that skying is falling.
The guy still has 5 goals( 10 points) in 11 games while coming from a surgery.
He will probably go another goal scoring streak soon.

Holl had a rough start but was fine by the end. He blocked a bunch of shots and did his job. Broke up a few plays too. But he still seems sluggish and I don't know if I like Dermott out again.

Semyonov was ok. Didn't really stand out. He did PK and had a couple decent shifts. Liljegren had some great looks and plays, but also had a couple blunders... a bit of an up and down one for him.

I thought Simmonds was great. Ritchie finally produced but I have no idea how he got 7 shots.

I was expecting some stupid bounce goal but nice to see the Leafs and especially Campbell take care of business.

Ritchie played with Marner, that's basically it. Had like 4 solid chances setup by him but of course couldn't score one.
