Van is in a wildcard spot. Why are they selling?

This years playoff field has no SUPER teams. Every team has massive flaws.

It wouldn't surprise me if a WC team went deep this year. None of the contenders are particularly scary.

They aren't, they're going to flip whatever futures they get. They've done this 3 times in the last 2 years.

Horvat for 1st, moved for Hronek

Miller for 1st, moved for Mettersson

Beauvillier for pick, flipped (and added) for Zadorov.

According to Serravali,

Boeser has turned down the Canucks latest offer of 5 yrs 8mil AAV per. Seravalli says the Canucks will make 1 last final offer.

I think the Canucks final offer will be 6 yrs @ 7.5-8mil AAV....

Anyone with eyes can see that this team is not even close to making a run. Last year's team would destroy them.

I think he's gone.

Realistically, this is probably Boeser's last big contract, so term is going to matter a lot for earnings potential. If 5 years is the max they're offering him, I can't fault him for wanting to hit the open market.
