At some point there will be a logjam at center (big surprise) for the Habs with Danault, still young, Domi, Suzuki, KK, Poehling... Evans and Vejdemo deserves a long look too. Oloffson ?
Hillis is on the same pace as Suzuki was last year, and without the first seven games, he is close to two points per game, similar to Brayden Point in his last year in juniors. Logjam at center would be a very nice problem to have.
Cam hillis’s game will for sure translate into a good 3rd line offense guy! He plays an NHL kind of game, he just need to add little bit of weight and alot of strength!
Suzuki was at low point in the fans expectation last year at the same time while he was barely visible at the WJC. What were the expectations for Brayden Point in his last year in juniors? The reality is that it is very early to put a tag on Hillis, but he is doing right now on post Memorial Cup finalist in Guelph is very promising. He need to stay healthy. Also, the Habs will know Pavel Gogolev very well after this year. Could be worth one of our fourth round pick.

I had him ranked 11th to start the season but looks like I should of had him a little higher as he's a top 10 prospect for us for sure.

I think there is top 6 potential there. Not quite sure if he will be a C because of his size but he's such a good playmaker that I wouldn't say no.

no his skating is solid.
He is the Guelph Storms best FWD. I think he plays a good enough 2 way game to be a 3rd line C in NHL

That's understandable given his injury riddled season. Would have been a treat to watch last year with that high octane Storm team.

The most impressive thing is both Hillis and Gogolev are producing together and the 3rd guy in production is a significant drop behind them. Hillis putting up this kind of production is not the same as with Fonstad from what I can tell.

Well deserved. He really impressed me this year. Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a good middle 6 forward in a few years and could see him making the team 2022.
Don't think this is OHL though but rather just for the Storm

It's a f***ing no brainer decision and the fact he hasn't been signed yet gives me this awful feeling they will sign some other garbage prospect instead.

If we don't sign him (and other of our CHL prospect) it would reflect very very bad on our amateur scouting...

Bradley, Walford, Tyszka, Hillis, McShane, Fonstad, Houde...
I am not in favor at all on signing all our prospect... I still don't get the signing of Pezzetta but at some point you have to question the scouting department with such shitty results...
