GDT: Calgary Flames vs. Not-Minnesota South Stars, 7:00 PM MT (1:00 AM GMT)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Amazing considering nobody touched the goalie on that play...

Last night was more than likely the end of our season. Tough way to go with how well they played, deserved much better.

I think over the next 5 games (unless you go 4-1 or better) time to start shutting people down for the year and bringing in some young guys.

Really too bad with how well everyone played. Good reminder that guys like Miro and Bean shouldn’t be in the lineup every night, let alone playing together.
We can’t start doing this after every single loss like we did in 2023. Yesterday was a pretty expected result, OOT scoreboard included. St. Louis’ easy schedule is over now, and after this weekend ours eases up. Even if we only split our games this weekend against Edmonton/Colorado, we would still only be 2 games back with a game in hand. We somehow win both and it stays technically being our spot to lose.

It seemed to me that Miro was stapled to the bench after getting walked on the Johnston goal last night. I think bringing Pachal back in for the BoA is the play. I expect at least one massive hit from him, too.

Last night was a rough result, but the play was encouraging. Scoring the same number of actual goals while more than doubling their chances is a hell of an effort even with them on a back-to-back.

The fears over St. Louis are overblown. They and Minnesota are very unlikely to win out the rest of the way, so the Flames just need to keep playing like that.

Would just like to point out that the Wild are tied with the Oilers for points.
