and there you go again, i don't think you can even blame one single goal on Quick this season

yet every 10 shots on goal he gives up 1 or 2, (no other respectable goalie does this in the league btw), and somehow it's never his fault!

I don't like the mental makeup of this team. They need to man up and answer back, not crawl into a shell.

They've dominated this game and have fallen behind due to blown calls, but they can't stop playing once they fall behind.

bingo...this team now struggles with pressure. they aren't as mentally sharp or resilient as past years.

personally i think its largely due to this team aging and the competition around them has improved. the old lion that once ruled, now can't quite keep up with the young ones.

this is why i have no issue with the team walking away from Williams, Regehr and Stoll this summer. they need to re-tool and get younger while the likes of Kopitar, DD, Quick, Brown, Carter and Gaborik are still able to play at a high level.

So what should he have done to prevent the second goal?

honestly sometimes quick is too aggressive and it leads to these sort of goals. it makes him subject to be bumped and the call will not always be made.
However that aggressive style has also led to two cups so take the good with the bad as there is usually more good

Several. When he scores, no one talks about it but when he doesn't it's like the world is ending.

Probably because 3 goals in a month and a half is unacceptable for a 7.5 million dollar player c

the flames d-system has been good this year at keeping guys to the outside, and clearing rebounds.
Those 2 things the kings have done beautifully the last few years
