Markus granlund is a beauty and the better of the two players IMO. Love that guy. Man I wish the flames weren't doing well so we could get some of their pieces without tearing up our roster!

The Kings are in an improvement mode and being at home, I think they can pull a win out of this tonight. Go Kings!
What happened to these guys? Near the top of the division during the beginning of the season and have lost their out of a playoff spot.

The "back to reality" bug bit them.
Reminds me of the Kings in the early 2000's. Not bad enough to get a top 5 pick, not good enough to make the playoffs.

Calgary's Defenders stopped scoring two goals a game. That output was eventually going to stop. Just like the 70's line drying up.
this. Calgary's shooting percentage was very high to start the year, and the goaltending was putting up unreal numbers. Both have come back down to earth

As a Flames fan I want to thank you for being so respectful towards our team. We know that the Flames are a year or two away from being seen as a serious competitor.
We guarantee that Calgary will work hard against the Kings tonight and will probably keep this close.
But it seems like every time the Flames make a mistake it ends up in their net.
The Kings are a great team, I have a lot of respect for them and will always have a great deal of respect for Darryl Sutter, I view him as the guy who saved Hockey in Calgary.
I just figure that the kings will extend the flames losing streak.
Good luck tonight.
