With the wealth of talent at the forward position, RB was a great pick and will spend the next decade patrolling the blue line with Hutson on teams that go deep in the playoffs. He was absolutely the right pick.

Hutson leads the entire league in plus minus since the four nations break, is third among every d in the league in points going back to being promoted to pp1, is second for all dmen in assists and 8th in the entire NHL in assists, and plays more es minutes than most 1D.

Where do you get 2d from?

From total minutes obviously, other dmen on the Habs are doing the defensive heavy lifting and Hutson is playing with the top unit alot and on the PP.

sure he is the frontrunner and many voters will look at the easy counting stats stuff but other will have also made impressions...

There's a difference between a bad pick and not the best pick. In this case, he was a good pick but not the best pick

You’re making Habs fans look bad here. Let it go. Celebrini definitely has a higher ceiling. Whether he reaches it remains to be seen.

Look at those penalty minutes.. 3 penalties all season.. look at those numbers. Your statement makes it's self look bad. Celebrini is FAR FAR from Suzuki right now. Will he ever get there? Yes it's possible. Who has a HIGHER ceiling RIGHT NOW? Suzuki does, it's been proven and there's still room to grow even more. Celebrini is a great rookie and great player already, but his name doesn't belong anywhere close to Suzuki's yet.
