I liked Gordeev, his goal against Kingston the other night was ridiculous.

As for Bitten, he seems stoked to be coming to Hamilton and I hope he slots in next to Entwistle to start.

Doubt he'll be speaking much French in Hamilton. Granted since he's such a great student maybe he's pre-med at Mac......

Realistically, it was a decent claim to try to spin why he wanted to go to Ottawa, finally reality set in and he had to move on with his career. Anything was better than Flint. But I doubt he would of gone to Sudbury, even if he could of taken French couses at Laurentian, as that Franchise is #2 on the mess scale among OHL franchises. Hamilton should be interesting, could be big boon for Matthew Strome who has had a decent start to the year. Not surprised a trade was hard to workout, I don't see many parents enthused with there kid going to Flint, even if it meant more ice-time.

It seems McMaster is apparently well-known for its programs in French, or something like that. So while he won't be speaking lots of French IN Hamilton, he could probably start his university in the language of his choice.

What programs does McMaster offer in French? I am aware of it having a french department. But I wasn't aware of it offering university studies in French.

Was mostly joking, but the jist I got was he wanted to take his degrees in French (aka take Poli-Sci, Engineering in French) and not get a French degree. But whatever, its over with. Excited to see what he can do in Hamilton, they were part of a goal fest yesterday.

Hearing he's starting on the second line with Fox and Entwistle.

Sure, cause the first line had an incredible weekend last week with Niki Pett at centre. You can't break that up while they are hot, you ride it for as long as it stays hot.

Once things cool down, he will replace Petti.

Petti is an overager who scored 47 points in 60 games as a 19 year old.
Bitten scored 65 in 67 as a 17 year old.

He'll be the first line centre soon enough.

Anybody on Bitten?

Keep hearing and reading his nickname should be "snake" (as in snake bitten). But I did see him live once and felt he was out of sorts all night. He was kept to the periphery all night and wasn't using teammates well that night.

Everything I read though suggests just bad luck.

Getting better as the season goes on, seems to be flying under a lot of people's radar's as a prospect. We'll see how well he adjusts to the AHL next year
