at 23/24th overall? sure.Just a hunch but I could see the Rangers taking this guy with a bit of a reach considering their draft history.

considering our need at Center, and who will likely be off the board before him, he has to be one of our prime targets, if a Hollaway/Bission/Zary does not slip to us.
I have a feeling Grots will be trading that late 1st rounder like he did last year.
It is highly unlikely, he had very limited icetime in the preseason. At first, he will have to play in VHL to make his step from junior hockey. BUT even if he will not destroy VHL he might have couple of games in KHL like Podkolzin had two years ago. Will he start the season with the big club?
Most probably not. Especially with all the young talent on the roster who are more established by now. Will he start the season with the big club?
Bragin not going to let him playMost probably not. Especially with all the young talent on the roster who are more established by now.
If Bragin does not let the player play the player is not good enough. Bragin has proven that often enough.Bragin not going to let him play
His surname sounds like hoo-snoo-deen-ov with emphasis on 'deen'Is the "Khusnut" portion of his name the same way the "Kuznet" in Kuznetsov is supposed to be spelled?

Khusnutdinov is typical tatarian surname. He has the same origins as Yakupov, Iskhakov or Shafigullin, for example.No. It's spelled
Хуснут
not
кузнец
The two would have a very different pronunciation. The second one means blacksmith, not sure what khusnut would mean. My guess would be that it's a Russified non-slavic name.
While the name is quite typical for Tatars it is more of an arabic rooted muslim name that Tatars in turn adopted.Khusnutdinov is typical tatarian surname. He has the same origins as Yakupov, Iskhakov or Shafigullin, for example.
