His summer skills focus about getting to the net and staying at the net with Radek Duda has paid off in spades. He's the only forward they have who is consistently around the net and trying to establish himself there without fly-bys. Full marks to Kulich for taking it on and wanting to do what's necessary, using the coaching.

Duda himself says that one of Kulich's best qualities is his coachability -

Where did this Olofsson comparison come from? Apart from shooting lasers, they're nothing alike.

His play of late really has me optimistic about how good he might become.

VO was great at scoring goals until opposing teams started to key on him and exposed the fact that that lethal shot from the circle is the only NHL-relevant portion of his game. Try to knock him off the puck and he gets knocked off the puck, each and every time. Don’t let him get the one-timer and that’s that for his effectiveness.
