Any progress updates for Soderblom in GR?

Been really, really effective the last month or so on a wagon of a Grand Rapids team. Nice to see because he was kind of disappearing as a prospect

The type of guy that could take a long time to figure it out but if he does he’s a matchup nightmare

He is......in the AHL. I think he's kind of a lost cause at this point. In his 6th year as a pro and has stagnated, or even regressed. I imagine he'll be a throw-in in a trade sometime this year or will be back in Sweden next year.

Probably not with Detroit. Stuck in between being talented and quick enough to make the NHL but can't put it all together consistently night in, night out. I was initially concerned about his 'intensity' but I now feel he just has some stamina issues that hinder him from playing a consistent 60 minutes every night

Was hoping he would be a winger version of Brian Boyle in some sorts. Big players are late bloomers and I am rooting for him but I just don't see it at this point. Probably headed back to Sweden sooner rather than later would be my guess
