You´ve just said that NHL is only league that matters. I am pretty sure that you will have majority of hockey fans in european countries cheering for team in their pro leagues and minority will be watching NHL. Your arrogance is showing.
Zadina is bad and sucks. That is all

Portfolio 5% :huh:o_O Wild day for most ppl, right? Kinda busy today to check anything else

He is not bad, he´s good. Don´t know why are you talkng about Zadina on Stutzle thread. Sorry for making you angry when i said that Lafreniere and Byfield are busts, i did not mean it.
It was literally just to work you up, nothing more. Zadina is fine, Tkachuk is better.

But let's get back to the issue here.

You made a damn bold claim about who are the top 3 best of the 2020 draft class while only 2 players have even played games (in a COVID season no less)... You have nothing to back up that statement other than your opinion so I mean, unless you start providing some metrics to justify yourself, it's just another hot take subject to scrutiny.

And now you're just arguing little semantics that have nothing to do with Stutzle so either get back on topic or GTFO and start your own thread.

Tons of people are making bold claims on HF boards, nothing to be angry about. I made comment about 2020 draft including Stutzle and you´ve started talking about Zadina so i am not sure you have right to say anything pal.

I guess Swedish and Finish players are all busts, because they are playing in SHL, Liiga and not with juniors in CHL like Byfield and Lafreniere. I am sure Raymond would f*** shit up if he could play. Rember NHL is nothing without europeans. Hedman best D, Pastrnak best goalscorer, Draisaitl best center(with McDavid of course)

You sound just like the huge amount of people who were calling Jack Hughes a bust 6 weeks ago.

I'm not saying Raymond is a bust, he's an excellent prospect who could surpass his 4th overall selection. You just happen to have really weak logic, so I'm employing similarly weak logic to - as the French say - mess with you.

Funnily enough, i was the one who said he will be absolute superstar, when everybody was calling him bust. He did not produce, but he passed my eye test at that time and i was not worried about that kid.

It's way too early to be making bold claims about how either Zadina's or Stutzle's careers are going to go. Player development is not a linear process, let's just enjoy that Stutzle looks really good in the Stutzle thread and Zadina looks really good in the Zadina thread. As a hockey fan, I want both players to succeed, even if it means Stutzle is doing so against my team.

Well i was talking about 2020 draft and Stutzle being propably n1 in future redraft and Holtz with Raymond being in top 5. First dude insulted SHL for being irrelevant hockey league and calling me idiot and then other guy started talking shit about Zadina, for what reason idk. I never mentioned Zadina in this thread.

Why is there always jealous Wings fans in Sens prospect threads?
Years of bad drafting and crap lottery luck do strange things to people.

I personally am more interested in the Byfield vs Stutzle debate, as I flip-flopped them a bunch in my own personal rankings prior to the draft. I settled on Byfield but man is Stutzle looking great.

I wasn't "sub-tweeting" you specifically, just critiquing this whole d*ck measuring conversation between prospect pools that isn't really relevant to discussing Stutzle specifically. That said, calling Laf and Byfield busts after barely a 1/5th of an NHL season is as flaming hot of a hot take as I've seen. It's good watercooler banter but its way too early to anoint Stutzle.

He's a bit out of his element at the moment IMO. What he needs is the AHL. Can the Senators loan him overseas or nah?

Perhaps I’m wrong, but at the time he did not look good at all. Last couple of games, he’s looked pretty good, especially last night. That three line pass was amazing.

That being said, he’s still not really doing much to tilt the ice.

Yes he is absolutely tilting the ice. You are just biased. He is just settling in now.

Well, he is playing with Chris Tierney, Derek Stepan (black hole) and Connor Brown.

If you're asking if he's dominating the league with 8 NHL games under his belt?

The answer is no.

If you're asking if he needs to be shipped to the AHL or overseas, the answer is also no.

He should be in the AHL; some of your own fan base agree with that assessment. He’s a black hole defensively. I know he’s being sheltered.

LOL, ok.

Scores in three straight games, should be sent down.

I happen to disagree with your perspective.

I'm also not quite sure what kind of message that sends a young player coming off a win where he's the #1 star and scored 3 points.

Maybe Natural Stat Trick has some advice in that area.

You may also wish to consult with Ottawa's defensive corps over his tenure in the NHL thus far and assess their impact on a team's Corsi and expected goal ratings.

I think the Sens are just happy they were able to take Tkachuk over Zadina and Stützle over Raymond.
I don’t think either was in any doubt, especially Stutzle over Raymond. Raymond was never mentioned in that top big 3 conversation of 1 2 and 3 in the 2020 draft. It was mostly who LA would take between Stutzle and Byfeild and Laf as the #1 being most NHL ready to be a good player from the get go.

Laf has had 18 shots and Stutzle has had 10. Stutzle has scored on 4 of them.

It's a bit simplistic to draw conclusions this early, even about that very small sample of games.
Looking at the ice time 5 on 5 and on the PP and the personnel each is running with, it is easy to conclude that of the 2 Lafreniere has gotten more of an opportunity to shine so far but he hasn’t. He works hard out there and I don’t think has hurt his team one bit, but he hasn’t been a difference maker or made things happen when out there.

I'm not going to comment further on Lafreniere's start as I haven't seen the games.

Maybe there are people in this thread that have seen the entirety of the play of both players but I highly doubt it.

I'm sure there is a lot more information on his play in the other Lafreniere threads kicking around.
