It's amazing how you found that post but failed to see the one just at the end of that page where I admitted having ****ed up. Almost as amazing as my math skills.

Well I didn't read every post in the thread. 50 points isn't great but isn't bad in today's NHL.

People can complain his point production isnt up to the level of marner or strome. I am fully confident he will be a better NHL player than the both of them. This guy does everything well. 6'3" 210 Lbs, skates like the wind, NHL shot. Put him anywhere and hes gunna be a valuable aspect to your team. Zacha should have been 3rd overall

marner is a playmaker.

He also has 16 more points. The gap is huge between the two this season regardless of the teams they play on.

Marner will continue to tear up juniors, same with strome. When you get to the NHL you need the full package, Zacha is it. Cannot wait to see all the stat watching morons eat their words when he is the most "surprising" player in the league next year.

Give OHL players a poll i guarantee you Zacha is the last person they want coming down on them on the wing

His offense will hold him back from being at Strome/Marners level.

He was a solid selection at 6 but a very clear step behind the big 5.

Good thing the OHL isnt the NHL! Seen way too many players annihilate the OHL with their numbers, some just dont translate to the NHL. Nothing against Marner or Strome, both will be solid NHLers. Unfortunate for some fans that never get to see Zacha play, he will be a far more effective NHLer than either.

You should consider being a professional scout. 99% of them would take Marner or Strome over Zacha.

Zacha just doesn't have that "wow" factor for me. I'm a fan of his. He'll be a good second line C. He was drafted 6th, and hasn't really done much to show he was a good or bad choice thus far, it's very early.

FWIW, I prefer Mikko Rantanen and Barzal as well.

IF Zacha becomes a center when he goes to NHL I will putt my money on that it will be a number 1 center. If he's play and hockey sense is good enough he has the rest off the abilities to be a true number 1, think Gezlaf.

A powerful strong nasty wing with elite speed and a Lethal shot. The thing about he's shot is that he gets it off so fast and with so much speed. That's the main reason why snipers from junior often don't translate to NHL.

This guy is legit, i can see why people said that in every other draft the last couple of years he could have gone 1 overall, but that could also be said about Marner and Eichel off course. It what you like in a player, small and ultra skilled you go with the London boy, big nasty and speedy you go with Zacha. Think they both will be great players just in way different ways. Zacha just don't have the support that Marner has and he also seems like a player you would love to go to the playoff with when skill sometimes is second.

I would be very surprised if he becomes a center in NHL.He lacks elite vision and passing ability to be a center.I think he will succeed as a winger in NHL.

Do you watch him play like full games?

I Think hes playmaking is underrated actually, I only watch him in the WJC like full games but that part of he's game definitely need to grow. But he's been leaned on to do things on he's own or to finish the play in most of he's young career.

But he will need to learn how to pass to he's teammates when the d men goes to him because they know he's shot is lethal and they have to respect that. But that part of he's game will come, it's not like he is bad just average I would say. Never think he will be elite but could a good passer over time.

I would rather have the guy that puts the puck in the net. Remember how he score he's goals, it's the wrist shot, back hand, one timers, power moves to the net and skill moves deking the goaltender. That's a tremendous upside to have because you never know what would translate to NHL. The most important thing to be is unpredictable.

Do you think Zacha will be ready to step into the NHL next season?

This man/child is still raw compared to others in his draft class. If he refines his game he has a chance in becoming something special. I can see him spending half a season in Albany before be called up to the big club. Either way I see him playing for the Devils at some point next season. Keep it going kid!

I encourage you to watch a Sarnia Sting game because it sure would appear you don't at all. Everyone can make the easy argument about stats with Marner and Strome, look who they are playing with! Look at the stats there linemates are putting up! Zacha is easily on the same level as these guys and is flat out dominant by himself, he just needs more talent around him. Watching him last night, he looks like the best player in the OHL right now. His shot is certainly one of the best in the league, Im sure plenty of opposing players would much rather play against Marner than this monster. Easy for the internet scouts to jump to a conclusion he isn't playing well because his stats aren't astronomical. Get out and watch this guy take over games by himself.

He almost made the team this season. I think he will get some time next year for sure.

I'm not sure he was as close to making the team as it would seem though.. I think they kept him around longer to get him more of a taste + because that's the only time they would be able to work with him that year.

I think he'll get some time next year and probably split between AHL/NHL. No need to go back to the OHL.

I think his game will translate well to the NHL. Not a huge fan of Strome, think Marner is going to be good but I'm happy with Pavel. Has some serious potential to be a dominant player with his size, skill and speed.

Out of his 12 goals I swear like 8 of them have been highlight reel worthy.

Kid's gonna make a great pro.
