Honestly I’m shocked he doesn’t have a thread yet so I thought I’d come out of retirement to make this thread. The St.Louis born Jackman is NOT the son of former calder winner Barret Jackman. Although American, Jackman seems poised to look over the NTDP and go to the OHL for next season where we will see him be a first round selection, likely high in the first round of the OHL draft.
He is a massive centre at 6’3” that uses his body well to shield off opponents when transporting the puck. He is very good at anticipating play and putting himself in strong scoring positions. Very competitive player that gives his all when he steps onto the ice. Skating has looked good in my viewings also, can be elusive which at his size is impressive but maybe lacks some top end speed.
This is one of my favourite players for the 2027 class at this point, love him as a player and an exited to watch his progress in the future.
