C Jack Eichel (2015, 2nd, BUF) IV

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
This kid keeps bedazzling me. His skating looks kinda "clumsy", "slow", "average" but no - he just glides there like some mysterious golden boy who defies the laws of physics and even logic.

That is something else.

BTW: His stick is indeed long, probably "too long". But if it works no reason to fix it. Barkov uses the same kind of crazy long rake.

I like that Eichel went to put his arm up to shield the puck and when he realized no one was close, was kind of like "never mind".

I actually lol'd at how hard that guy is trying to catch up to him and Eichel just effortlessly blows by him. And then what a snipe. What a player.

Safe to say come day 1, McDavid and Eichel are already the fastest players in the league.

But just when did Eichel turn into this speedster? He was "slow" like Getzlaf once to whom he was compared in every (other) aspect of the game including the "receding" hair-line.. :shakehead

Relatively quiet game for Eichel despite the sweet goal. A good game, but he wasn't as dangerous as in the previous two.

He's so fast. My god.

And I feel like I've heard of him having a shorthanded goal or opportunity in every pre-season game he's played thus far.

There wasn't much chemistry with a lot of the lines. They will get better as they get more familiar with all the new players that have been shifted around.
