This kid keeps bedazzling me. His skating looks kinda "clumsy", "slow", "average" but no - he just glides there like some mysterious golden boy who defies the laws of physics and even logic.

That is something else.

BTW: His stick is indeed long, probably "too long". But if it works no reason to fix it. Barkov uses the same kind of crazy long rake.

Now had he done something to bury this, it wouldn't be off the Sabres board anytime soon. It was such a sweet move.

There wasn't much chemistry with a lot of the lines. They will get better as they get more familiar with all the new players that have been shifted around.
