Great fit whit the Avs. Bednar loved him last TC. His type of players. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the team right out of camp on the 4th line. Most likely starting the season on the Eagles though and then get a call up.

Czechs have been bad for so long that we don't get drafted as much. It's our own fault ftr. Zadina, Hajek, Zboril, Kaut all come to mind.lol
He's an August birthday which obviously hurts, but he was also a late bloomer. 22 points in 62 games in his draft year.

Did he straight up make the team and beat out other roster guys or is he just potentially filling in for injured players and then be eventually sent to AHL when Avs are healthy
Either way it’s an outstanding accomplishment!!.. I’m just curious if fans think it’s just a matter of time till he’s in the AHL or if they feel he can stick in NHL all season

Landeskog, Lekhonen & Niichushkin are all on IR.
Calum ritchier will probably have a 9 game sting. IF he play good, I can see him make the team for all year. That's a personal opinion tough
There are injuries, but there's a decent chance he sticks in the lineup for a while even as some of those guys come back. He had a great preseason and beat a few NHLers out of the 4th line slot. And all of the guys that are hurt and coming back are Top 6 forwards and none are Centers.
Ivan probably holds down the 4C spot for a little while if I had to guess.
