how big is the cemetery of busts that were successful in the ahl again?Yep, no good players come out of there.

Because many player who put up decent numbers in the AHL never made it in the NHL. Because he is 21 nad not 18 or 19. Because I see DeBrincat, Howden and others putting up points in the NHL. Beacause he was first rounder who was supposed t be one of the top prospects out of Russia and at 21 he couldn't even make it to the KHL.Because no 21 year old has ever become a decent player in the NHL after putting up good numbers in the AHL right? I like how youre saying that NA ruined him when his development was being stunted in the KHL![]()
People who can't analyze anything are real fun, you know. Yeah, Provorov is a great expample of why the US defencemen development is good.Yep so did Provorov.
LOL You certainly have an proof for your wild claims like the nonsense about the team that was really trying hard to keep him and gave him the best opportunities for development. Which fake hockey news channel produces those weird stories about the KHL all the time? His development in Russia was horse**** at best. That was his teams fault not his. Let’s not twist things. He ran to juniors for an opportunity to develop his game which he wasn’t getting in Russia.

His deveolpment was being stunted in the KHL? How? Do you really believe that nonsense you make up yourselves for internal use in NA?
The point is the Flyers should have taken DeBrincatAnyone calling a 20 year old who was a lateish first round pick just a few short years ago a bust probably doesn’t know enough about said player to rationally discuss him anyway. What’s the point.
So you can't answer my question and claim instead that I somehow prove your whatever? Nice. He’s 20. Thanks for proving my point for me.
Lol what a strawman argument. Theres just as many cases of 21 year olds who were groomed in the AHL for a season or two and made it as those who didnt.Because many player who put up decent numbers in the AHL never made it in the NHL. If you also paid attention to Rubtsov youd know that he played in the KHL before coming to NA and didnt post a single point in 15 games![]()
Im being sarcastic, im well aware that his team was stunting his development in the KHL.He got 5/6 minutes a game for those 15 games. He didn’t get the opportunity to succeed playing those minutes did he? Context matters
[mod] Numbers in the AHL do not guarantee NHL success, at least at ths age, he is not a prodigy underager who scores in a men's league at this point. No guarantee doesn't mean he won't have success. It means there is no guarantee. Thus the numbers don't carry much weight.Lol what a strawman argument. You know nothing about context of development in Russia. If the whining tale about minutes is about to ensue, then just put him on the Flyers right away and give him 18 minutes per game on the top line for the sake of his develoment or else we claim "he didn't get the opportunity".He got 5/6 minutes a game for those 15 games. it seems more than a half of them went bust.Elite Prospects - AHL Stats All-time totals
Look at the list of players above him and around him, most went on to become NHL players.

Just like the numbers in the KHL as a 18 y.o.. Scoring in the KHL at age 18 is not easy, it's not the CHL. And development is not points scored. Logic is a nice thing, you should try it.
It looks like much less than half.it seems more than a half of them went bust.
