Olympics: Bylsma - worst coach of the Olympics?

Really disappointing from USA these last two games, and Bylsma has been completely out-coached especially against Babcock where the Canadians came with a perfect game plan and executed it perfectly, shutting down everything US had been before that game. Bylsma had no answer to that, instead they got into some moronic grinding game that won't simply work on larger ice.

Why was Bylsma selected? He's not even a good coach.

Well he let his team get outplayed by the hobo coaching Russia, so I say yes.

Always thought he was overrated cause he took the Pens team to the cup. Pretty much any coach in the NHL could of coached them to a cup with that lineup.

Unfortunately USA doesn't have that many great coaches to choose from.

Bylsma is about as tactically stupid as his Penguin predecessor Therrien. Don't know, but the Czech coach, Bylsma, and the Russian coach are neck-and-neck as to who is the worst.

His inability to make adjustments during a game really hurt his team. His strength is to manage a bunch of grinders plus call ups, not a team full of great players.

Terrible coach. Couldn't get his team to get up for a game against Canada or the chance to win a medal. Then you get into other things like his favoritism holding Brown/Wheeler accountable for mistakes but rewarding Orpik for his. And then you get into him matching his worst defenseman, Orpik, against Crosby. I can't...

It's funny that I've been saying this forever on these boards. Byslma is not the coach you want behind your bench in big games. Many don't believe me. Well they're seeing it first-hand now.

He's won 3 playoff series since 2009, with talented teams.

He has a losing record at home during the playoffs. (yes, with last change)

2 years in a row he's had offensive teams completely shutdown overnight. Pens vs Bruins last year, and USA vs Can/Fin at these olympics.

His teams will play completely undisciplined when things don't go their way. Everyone has seen the Penguins meltdowns and you were seeing it again today with the USA taking horrible penalties out of frustration.

He refuses to line match and won't put his best players in the best situations to succeed.

These things stop becoming a coincidence after a while and start becoming a trend.
